Surfer Joe, the song...heard it in elementary school, someone had a 45 and it was played over and over at dances.  It's on my ipod, and it played this morning on the treadmill.  It just happened to come along at a point where the music can give you a boost, it did and so I mention it here. Catching up

The Up's and Down's in Life
I sure have been feeling them lately. For several months I have failed to really get on the proper track for healthful living.  Despite good starts and strong effort, the fog of inactivity and poor eating habits have mostly prevailed.  Had a week of flu, been without the proper functioning stationary bike, its been COLD, excuses aplenty and even legit.  None the less,
I fully desire to get back to a high level of fitness that I have lacked for some time.  I write this for myself.  So self lets get it right and lets get it on...FOCUS.  Hey I did buy a stationary bike, having given up on the fit center's ability to fix the broken one which continues to occupy space....spent a few dollars as an investment in my health and so thats a good thing...  Hit it for the first time this morning/good energy and a good run after the 40 minute ride.  Feel great, perhaps the start of better things to come? Stay tuned and we shall see....and now to get caught up on what I have and have not done over that last several day:
