The basic elements remain the same, exercise and negative caloric consumption of healthy foods. The changes are; Reduction in Base Caloric Daily Rate and the establishemtn of eating healthy in moderation without distraction. No reading or Tv while eating. This is a more mindful practice, which seperates the eating experience from other experiences and distractions, resulting in food based upon the body's actual need, eliminating mindless eating of too many calories. Phase 4 is underway.
