Once A Runner

Now a jogger.  Slow and easy most of the time.  Hey decent energy this morning for a change.  Hung on for more than 5 and just kept on, made an hour at of it...

Untitled

Thursday morning, seemed to get plenty of sleep, downed 20 ounces of Peet's coffee, still I feel weak and tired.  Guilting myself over to the stationary bike, I get on and get going.
Got it done, got a workout in, still tired. WTF???????

Self Discipline

The act of executing a decision, despite obstacles, despite self imposed objections, to accomplish a task striving to meet one's goals, short or long term. That is self discipline.

Endorphins ?

Endorphins? Where are you?

Not feeling it, not like I used to.  It's taking all I've got mentally and physically to just get to the starting line, it's gotta be a phase to go through, I hope to get through it soon.  Not finding a lot of fun in this right now.  Enough negativity self...lets get focused on just going through change and facing whatever comes....

Low Energy Morning

Pushed through the lack of energy, to get some exercise in.  Don't know how to account for this feeling of low energy...just got to accept it and move on.  Got in 2/3 of what I had planned for...

Endurance

Enduring the discomfort and pain of physical challenge causes the mind and body to adjust and over time build endurance.  Regular exercise and challenge to the physical and mental self will build your confidence in yourself.  The best plan is to do something easy and gradually build upon the effort, extending minutes and distance. Some minimum level of self discipline is needed to get going each day and do something, be it walk, jog, ride a bike, swim, hike, etc.,  Keep it fun and strive for consistency, over time you will find yourself reaping the rewards building endurance and confidence along the way.  Go for it.
