Easy/Hard

Today's Workout

Run  109/10 miles
Swim  20/800 yards
Bike  73/23.5 miles
The hard/easy or easy/hard concept:  Give your body some rest and give your body some hard work.  You can alternate on days, or workouts, or during your workouts, windsprints followed by easy jogging is an example of hard/easy.  Going long one day and cutting back the next is a way to do hard/ easy.  The idea is to work and work less hard giving yourself some time to mend while still getting some level of work in.  Cross training is another way to accomplish hard/easy training.  Hey it's all good, so enjoy it all!
