Today's Workout:
X60, M
BIKE: 33 minutes, 10+ miles, stationary.
RUN: 51 minutes, 5 miles, the old industrial road run, strider's.
Your out on a run, you have been running for months or years, you consider yourself a runner.
You feel tired, but know you will warm up, so you stay with it. At around the 30 minute mark you notice how easy this all feels. The legs just carry you, no real pains, your breath flows easily. Your mind drifts off for awhile and you just run. You note how good you feel and it stays with you. You pick up the pace near the end of your run, going strong. You check your watch as you cross the finish. It's a good one, an above average run. You feel great and you go about your day now having succeeded and accomplished something personal and valuable that only you really are aware of. Yeah, you do it every day, but today is one of the good runs. You have put this run away and logged it into your mind. You can't help but feel good about the day ahead and you just know it's going to be a great day.
