FEEDING THE EAGLEUnbelievable trip! Hooked up with MD at 0530, drove out to Cultus Lake, got the boat in the water at 0630 and the Lake Master, (MD) got us into some Mackinaw. Only about 5. Threw a wounded 5 pounder to the lake, wherin an American Bald Eagle snatched it within 20 seconds. This was an amazing and unforgettable sight to see! The Lake Master apparently does feed the eagles like this on a semi regular basis! Our great thanks to our host and yet another great day under the Central Oregon skies.
I wish I'd been there. A five pound fish alone would have been a sight to see let alone an eagle. Keep having a grand time.
