Tenacity

TENACITY
Its a great word, tenacity. Coming from the word, tenacious. meaning; holding firm, persistent, tending to retain, holding fast. Tenacity is a good quality to have for the most part. One must strive to assure the application to positive action and not negative types of things. Clinging dearly to something or someone who is bad for you can help take you down. Stay away from your tenacious self as it relates to the negatives you encounter along life's path. Otherwise your tenacious self can be a tremendous strength. As in endurance sports, you can apply tenacity to your mental state and push yourself towards the finish. The "70.3" emblem above is a mark of tenacity if you have earned one. This is the sign for a Half Ironman Triathlon, a swim of 1.2 miles, cycling for 56 miles and running for 13.1 miles = 70.3 miles, hence the emblem. You however need not be a 70.3 type to demonstrate your own tenacity in a positive way. Odds are if you think about it you will find your tenacious self in examples within your own life. We face struggles along our way with obstacles and lessons to be learned, think about getting your tenacious self out for some exercise, the more you use it the stronger it gets!
