Contador and Armstrong Reports from the world of cycling, including Lance's twitter, have these two, soon to be former teammates talking various levels of trash about one another. We humans don't always play together well, especially these super competitive cyclists who are among the sports greatest of all time. We have a passing of the torch here in my opinion and it's not being passed in a very willing or sportsmanlike way. As a huge Lance fan, I have to fault him for not taking the higher road. Contador is the young future here and he lacks respect as well. It's easy to say what you want and suggest the high road when your not in the heat of the battle, I realize that. This battle will probably be good for the sport of cycling as it will bring a lot of media interest from time to time over the next year as the 2010 Tour de France can be billed as the re match between Contador and Lance. Speculation and opinion will drive more interest in the sport. It's maybe a little like Ali v. Frazier or one of the many sports rivalries. So never mind, lets not all get along, go ahead and have at it boys, it may be good for the sport of cycling.
