Yesterday was the first mountain stage of this year's Tour De France. Contador was able to break just a bit from the pack on the final climb, moving into 2nd in the GC, just 6 seconds off the yellow jersey. Lance drops into 3rd place overall. now 8 seconds off the leader. Today the mountains came early. a succesful break resulted in no changes in the GC.
